Catering for the needs of the quieter, peace-seeking traveller, our late-Victorian Merchant villa's provides a tranquil setting for you to relax, converse and plan your journeys.
Built from prized native New Zealand Kauri timber, Verandahs is being lovingly restored to surpass its original grandeur. Whether you're spending time alone in our comfortable rooms or mixing with fellow travellers in our elegant lounge's, spacious garden or on our picturesque verandahs, you'll enjoy style, serenity and space in the heart of the city.
Verandah's incorporating a mixture of double, double ensuite, single, twin, share rooms and mixed-share dormitory, over two villas, provides the utmost comfort for travellers with luxurious blackout curtains, quality beds, cotton linen and duvets.

Our newly completed kitchen includes electric ovens, gas hobs, microwave, complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, spices and a free food area bearing donations of fellow travellers Our showers and toilets are of a very high standard with quality shower heads and good water pressure to provide an enjoyable wash. To further ensure your comfort, we thoroughly clean all common areas daily. There is a non-smoking rule inside and on the verandahs, but you are welcome to enjoy a cigarette in our garden.
All Verandahs staff are friendly and approachable and at your service to ensure you enjoy all aspects of your stay. They can also provide the low-down on the city's attractions and surroundings, helping you get the most out of your stay in Auckland. |
